Pakistan does not want a full-scale war with India: Khawaja Asif
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that ‘India has invited an ‘increase in tensions’ by attacking, but also said that Islamabad is ‘trying to avoid’ a full-scale war.
Talking to CNN, he said that the attack in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and Punjab is a ‘clear violation’.
The Defense Minister said that ‘India has crossed the international border. This is a clear violation and an invitation to escalate tensions and turn the region into a major threat.

He said that after India’s attack, the Pakistani army is ready for an ‘all-out war’, there is no doubt that we are ready for a full-scale war because India is escalating this conflict. We cannot sit still.

It should be noted that on April 22, 26 people were killed in a militant attack in Pahalgam in Indian-administered Kashmir, after which tensions between the two countries are increasing.

India launched missile attacks on several places in Pakistan on the night of May 6 and 7, as a result of which, according to officials, 31 people were killed and 57 were injured.

The Pakistani army has claimed to have shot down five Indian fighter jets, including a Rafale, in retaliation.
